John here, a corporate America burn-out and passion-driven entrepreneur. HelloCues blossomed in my Brooklyn kitchen in 2022 but truly began in the vibrant world of my mother, Cuemella, hair salon before her passing in 2014. Watching her blend natural, confidence-boosting remedies for her clients inspired me to carry her legacy forward and bring my community needs to the center. Naming the brand after her was my way of paying homage to the woman who taught me the art of care and service.
My journey through corporate America in tech, real estate, and marketing has been instrumental in shaping the operational and creative vision of HelloCues. Here, we merge traditional wisdom with contemporary insights, crafting high-quality, toxin-free grooming products that resonate with the needs and aspirations of black and brown men.
